Outdoor metal furniture takes a beating. Sun, rain, humidity - it all adds up. Over time, the finish chips, fades, and starts to look rough no matter how solid the piece is underneath. A lot of people just replace it. But replacement gets expensive fast, especially when the actual metal is still in great shape.

That's exactly the situation here. These patio tables came in faded and chipped from years of outdoor exposure. The bones were good. The finish was not. So instead of scrapping them, we stripped everything down, did the proper prep work, and applied a durable powder coat finish from scratch.

Prep work is where powder coating jobs either succeed or fail. If you skip steps or rush through surface prep, the new finish won't bond correctly and you'll end up with the same problems down the road. We don't cut corners there. Every surface gets cleaned, prepped, and ready before a single coat goes on.

The finished result is a smooth, even matte finish across every slat and angle of both tables - including all the tight geometry in the center pattern where detail work matters most. It's the kind of finish that holds up against UV exposure, moisture, and everyday use far better than spray paint or touch-up coatings ever could.

Powder coating isn't just a cosmetic fix. It's a protective layer that bonds to the metal and extends the usable life of the piece significantly. If you've got metal furniture, railings, or equipment that's seen better days, refinishing it is almost always worth considering before writing it off.
